Product Description
Bring a touch of classic British maritime history to your coastal decor or vintage collection with this mid-century Ship in a Bottle, meticulously crafted in England.
This piece features a detailed miniature model of the Robin Hood (1856), a famous British tea clipper known for its lightning-fast voyages. The ship is expertly constructed with full rigging, cream-colored sails, and miniature flags, set upon a molded green and white "choppy sea."
True to traditional Yorkshire handicraft, the model is built inside a distinctive, three-sided Haig & Haig "Dimple" pinch bottle, featuring raised embossed lettering on the base and its original red screw cap. The top of the cap retains its rare, original gold foil maker's seal reading: "Ship Models - England - Robin Hood's Bay." Perfect for a tiki bar display, mid-century nautical office, or an addition to a collection of rare maritime folk art.
